Public Hearing Resilient Communities Program-Zoning Ordinance Amendment

CITY OF LOS FRESNOS
RESILIENT COMMUNITIES PROGRAM

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Los Fresnos will hold a public hearing on at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at City Hall, 520 E Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, Texas, to receive public comments and consider proposed amendments to the City’s Zoning Ordinance text for its Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) Resilient Communities Program Contract No. 23-160-015-E338.  The meeting will include a presentation by GrantWorks, Inc., the City’s planning consultant, followed by consideration and possible action by the Commission. The City encourages residents to attend. Persons with disabilities who wish to attend this meeting should contact the City Secretary at (979) 567-3271 at least two days before the meeting to make appropriate arrangements.

La Comisión de Planificación y Zonificación de la ciudad de Los Fresnos realizara una audiencia pública el lunes 20 de julio de 2026 a las 6:00 p. m. en el Ayuntamiento, ubicado en 520 E Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, Texas, para recibir comentarios del público y considerar las enmiendas propuestas al texto de la ordenanza de zonificación de la ciudad relacionadas con su Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Resilient Communities Program, No. de Contrato 23-160-015-E338. La reunión incluirá una presentación de GrantWorks, Inc., consultor de planificación para la ciudad, seguida de consideración y posible acción por parte de la Comisión. La ciudad invita a los residentes a asistir. Las personas con discapacidad que deseen asistir a esta reunión deben comunicarse con la Secretaría Municipal al (979) 567-3271 al menos dos días antes de la reunión para que se puedan tomar las medidas necesarias.
