PT Community Health Program Assistant
GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
This part time Community Health Program (CHP) Assistant provides support services to the Community Health Supervisor in the delivery of community health programs. This non-exempt, part time position assists with outreach activities, participant coordination, class preparation, documentation, and general administrative support to promote effective and efficient program operations. This positions performs supportive and clerical functions under close supervision. Work is routine to moderately complex and follows established procedures. The CHP Assistant does not perform independent clinical or research interventions and does not exercise supervisory authority.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of community outreach and public health support services
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in community outreach, health programs, or administrative support preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation
