Full-Time Water & Waste Water Plant Operator

• Pay Rate: To be negotiated.
• Description:  Operation, maintenance, testing and repairs of the water and wastewater plant and lift stations.  Has responsibility for the preparation of reports and records, has some contact with the public, requiring tact and diplomacy, makes decisions daily, vary in complicity; coordinates on the job training and safety programs.

• Qualifications:  Requires considerable knowledge of water and sewer treatment methods, equipment operation, and maintenance.  High school graduate with three to five years of experience in a water and sewer related field.  Must have a valid class “C” Surface Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator license or higher within six months of assignment to the position.  Must have a valid Texas Driver license.
